Ford F-250 Diesel for Sale in Brentwood, CA

Ford F-150 Diesel for Sale in Brentwood, CA

The current-generation F-150 does not offer a diesel engine option. What Ford calls the PowerBoost is a gas-electric hybrid V6 with a built-in Pro Power Onboard generator, not a diesel, and it is the closest thing to diesel-style torque and efficiency available on a new F-150 today.

If a diesel-specific F-150 is what you are after, your two realistic paths are a used F-150 built in the years the 3.0L Power Stroke was offered, or stepping up to a new Ford Super Duty, where the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel is available on our F-250 stock, which is a common next step for Brentwood ag and equipment haulers who outgrow the F-150's towing range. Call (925) 578-1003 and we can walk through both options honestly.

Buying a Ford F-150 Diesel at Bill Brandt Ford: Common Questions

Can I get an F-150 in a cab and box combination you don't have on the lot right now?

Yes. If the cab style, bed length, or trim combination you want is not sitting on our lot today, we can search other Ford stores in the region or place a factory order in your name. Call (925) 578-1003 with the build you have in mind and we will give you a realistic timeline.

When did Ford stop offering a diesel engine in the F-150?

Ford discontinued the 3.0L Power Stroke diesel option in the F-150 after the 2021 model year. It has not returned to the lineup since. Call (925) 578-1003 if you are specifically shopping for one of those earlier diesel-equipped trucks used.

Will you take my current truck on trade toward an F-150?

Yes. Submit a free trade appraisal online and we will give you a real number to put toward your new F-150, no purchase required to get the estimate. High-mileage trucks are still worth appraising.

Can I special order a diesel F-150 through Ford?

No, Ford does not offer a diesel engine as a factory order on the current F-150 in any trim. If diesel torque is what you need, the F-250's Power Stroke is the closest new-truck option we carry. Call (925) 578-1003 to talk through it.

What financing options do you offer, and can I get approved with less-than-perfect credit?

We work with a range of lenders and can usually find an option for first-time buyers, commercial buyers, and customers rebuilding credit. Check your numbers with our credit estimator, then submit a secure financing application. Also check our current specials for factory incentives that stack with financing.

Who services my F-150 after I buy it?

Our Ford-trained service department handles everything from scheduled maintenance to warranty work. Schedule service online anytime, day or night.
