Which Vehicles Qualify for the Ford Accessibility Program?
We offer many vehicle types that are eligible for the Ford Mobility Motoring Program:
- All new Ford purchases or leases during the program period, including cars, vans, crossover SUVs, SUVs, and trucks.
- New vehicles from the U.S. Ford Authorized Pool Converter
- Vehicles with qualifying adaptive equipment installed within one year of the purchase or lease.
Who Qualifies for the Ford Accessibility Program?
At Bill Brandt Ford, we want to remove as many barriers as possible for people who need adaptive equipment for their vehicles. The customer must be the end-user of the vehicle. In other words, the vehicle cannot be adapted and then sold. Organizations like churches, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and government agencies qualify for the program.

What Types of Modifications & Equipment Qualify?
As part of the Ford Mobility Motoring Program, adaptive equipment installations are eligible for up to $1,000 reimbursement if they fall under the following criteria:
- Major structural modifications for wheelchair lifts or ramps must be completed by a Ford-authorized Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM)
- Documentation is required to show mobility equipment was installed on the vehicle
- A raised roof or lowered floor do not qualify on their own; they must be a part of the total conversion to include adding equipment such as a wheelchair lift, ramp, or adaptive controls
- Adaptive equipment is any device that makes it easier for persons with permanent disabilities to either drive or acquire safe transport with family members or caregivers as drivers
